HELIOTROP in Mexico for the State Visit of the President of France

Paris, 22 April 2014. Heliotrop management was in Mexico, being invited by French President Mr. François Hollande for the State Visit with Mexico President Mr. Peña Nieto. This event fostered Heliotrop development in Mexico, which starts with 1024 Soles proyecto.

The State Visit not only included political event but also factory visits in Queretaro, and was an opportunity for Heliotrop to make a step forward with its ambitions for Mexico. The State Visit celebrated the 50th anniversary of Charles de Gaulle visit to Mexico, and was a real occasion for a renewed international partnership. 1024 Soles proyecto is a full value chain development plan, organized by Heliotrop and supported by Sonora Government, which brings together international R&D, local manufacturing, international supply chain and utility-scale plants. Its ultimate objective is to create sustainable jobs in Mexico, in France and allow low cost electricity at a rate of 5-7c$/kWh, which makes it competitive with all other energy sources. New announcements for this project are expected in 2014.
